LANCASTER COUNTY – State Police are investigating several cases of animal cruelty in Lancaster County. On March 15, police say unknown actors fired shots into two cows on the 100 block of Schoolhouse Road in Colerain Township. The cows were struck several times and both were found deceased by the owner in the morning. The same suspects fired shots at a horse and a cow in the 500 block of S. Vintage Road in Sadsbury Township during the same time frame. In that case, the horse survived, but the cow was deceased.
