LANCASTER COUNTY – The search is on for the whereabouts of 21-year-old Julien Murrey of Columbia. Murrey is a wanted person in a case involving robbery, theft, and assault. On Dec. 30, a victim was in a park in the 300 block of Dicken Drive in Lancaster Township and saw three figures dressed in black with hoods up, approaching him. The victim placed a bag with a Glock 19 handgun on a nearby bench. Murrey charged, tackled, and punched the victim in the face. In the melee, the ski mask came off of the attacker identified as Murrey. Afterward, the victim ran to their bag, looked inside, and saw that the Glock 19 had been taken. After taking the firearm, all three suspects left the scene. A criminal complaint was filed and an arrest warrant was obtained. Murrey remains a wanted person at this time.
