LANCASTER – Police in Lancaster are investigating a shooting. Around 5:15 p.m. on December 10, officers responded to a reported shooting that occurred behind the Turkey Hill on S. Duke Street. Police located an adult male shot in the legs on the 500 block of North Street. Officers immediately acted by applying several tourniquets to the victim’s legs. The victim was transported to the hospital and taken to surgery. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time. This is an active investigation and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward by calling Lancaster Police at 717-735-3300 or leaving an anonymous tip through their Crimewatch page.
