ANNAPOLIS, MD (AP) – Maryland election officials say Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has collected enough signatures to be on the Maryland ballot as an independent presidential candidate. The announcement comes after Kennedy suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed former President Donald Trump, who is the Republican nominee. Kennedy needed 10,000 signatures to appear on Maryland’s ballot, and election officials verified more than 15,000 signatures submitted by supporters.
