YORK COUNTY – York County authorities have officially identified the unknown skeletal remains connected to a homicide case. The remains were discovered 13 years ago at Loucks and Haviland Roads and have remained unidentified despite extensive forensic efforts. Through advanced DNA analysis and forensic genealogy, officials confirmed the victim’s identity as 42-year-old David Queen of Baltimore, Maryland who went missing November 6, 2006. He was last seen by family heading to work at McDonalds on Falls Road from his residence at 2815 Violet Avenue in Baltimore. Authorities have notified the victim’s family who have been awaiting information on their loved one since they went missing. Investigators are hoping the breakthrough renews momentum in the homicide investigation and may generate new leads.
