YORK COUNTY – York County authorities have determined that the man and woman found in a Sunday morning house fire in Stewartstown died of gunshot wounds. The blaze happened in the first block of N. Main Street. Officials identified the male victim as 54-year-old Michael Shores, Jr. of Stewartstown and the female as 41-year-old Jennifer Troch of Stewartstown. The County Coroner is still investigating the manner of death. An on-going investigation continues between Southern Regional Police, PA State Police Fire Marshals, and the York County Coroner’s Office.
