HARRISBURG – Manufacturing in the Keystone State is being highlighted by the Wolf Administration. Gov. Tom Wolf has proclaimed now through October 14 as Manufacturing Week in the state to celebrate our manufacturing industry, our makers, and encourage the next generation to take a closer look at manufacturing careers in the Commonwealth. PA has the 6th largest manufacturing industry in the U.S. by employment, it produces over $113 billion in GDP per year, and accounts for more than 560,000 jobs – nearly 1 in 10 jobs in PA.
