LANCASTER – The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the 2020 Walk to End Alzheimers on September 26 in Lancaster County. Rather than a large in-person gathering, walkers can go on any trails, sidewalks, and tracks with family and friends to raise funds. Fran Gibbons, the Walk Director for Eastern PA, says the goal is to raise $300,000. Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States.
