COLUMBIA – Authorities have released the names of the two people who lost their lives after a fatal pedestrian crash in Lancaster County. Sunday around 11:45 a.m., police were called to the intersection of 3rd and Chestnut Streets in Columbia. Officers arrived and found that a Dodge Ram pickup struck three people. All three pedestrians were transported to a local hospital. While still working the scene of the crash, police were notified that the two adults, 74-year-old Eric Lutz and 71-year-old Donna Lutz of Columbia, had died. A juvenile female with them was injured. The truck driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Columbia Borough Police at 717-684-7735.
