DAUPHIN COUNTY – A Harrisburg woman is charged after stealing over $145,000 worth of jewelry and other valuable items. Lower Swatara Township Police arrested 34-year-old Shaylee Garber of Harrisburg in connection with a string of thefts. Garber was employed at UPS on North Union Street in Middletown where the thefts occurred. She has been charged with felony theft by unlawful taking, mail theft, and criminal attempt. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 13.
