CUMBERLAND COUNTY –Firefighters continue to tackle two fires in Michaux State Forest in Cumberland County. In the latest update as of last night, the PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources says the Thompson Hollow Fire is at 2,248 acres with 42% containment. The Hammonds Rocks Fire is at 470 acres with 92% containment. No personal property damage or physical injuries have been reported. All residents who have been evacuated are able to return to their homes. Three Turn Road and Thompson Hollow Road are limited to resident traffic only. All other roads have reopened. Persons are asked to limit travel in the area to allow emergency personnel to work safely.
