ADAMS COUNTY – Authorities released an update to an Adams County death investigation. A male body was discovered Sunday, July 26 around 10:30 a.m. in a wooded area near 45 Upper Temple Road in Menallen Township. The cause and manner of death are awaiting toxicology results. Authorities have identified the body as 48-year-old Oliverio Soto-Escobar of Mexico. PSP also reported that 60-year-old Anastacio Gonzalez-Larios of Gettysburg was charged with abuse of a corpse and obstructing administration of law or other governmental function related to the investigation. Reports are that the two were roommates. Gonzalez-Larios reported that found Soto-Escobar deceased in a bedroom. Instead of calling authorities, he moved the body to the wooded location. Gonzalez-Larios is being held in Adams County Prison. State Police and the Adams County District Attorney’s Office are seeking any next-of-kin information for Soto-Escobar.
