LANCASTER COUNTY – Lancaster County fire crews battled a house fire just after midnight on Saturday. Units responded to the first block of Cinder Road in Providence Township for a possible basement fire. Upon arrival, they located a fire in a room in the basement that had spread to the stairs and first floor. Crews then were called to a two alarm fire in the 100 block of Furnace Road in Bart Township at Furnace Road Structures for a blaze throughout a large building. A cause of the fires are under investigation. No injuries had been reported.
