LANCASTER – Lancaster Police are investigating two incidents of shots being fired. Around 10 p.m. Friday, July 18, officers responded to the area of S. Christian and Chester Streets. Upon arrival, they found shell casings and determined that multiple vehicles and a residence in the 400 block of S. Christian Street had been struck by gunfire. No one sustained any injuries. About 20 minutes later, police responded to another report of shots fired on the 1200 block of Union Street. Officers located multiple shell casings and found that a residence had been struck by gunfire. No one sustained any injuries in that incident. Both are under active investigations.
