LANCASTER COUNTY – Firefighters battled two separate fires in Lancaster County. Units responded yesterday around 1:55 p.m. to a chicken house fire in the 1900 block of Hans Herr Drive in West Lampeter Township. There’s no word if there were any chickens in the structure at the time. No injuries were reported and there’s no word on what may have caused the blaze. Crews also responded shortly before 12:30 p.m. to a house fire on Krantz Mill Road in Providence Township. Authorities say the cause of that fire was electrical. No one was injured.
