ALLENTOWN – As the fight to combat COVID-19 continues, PA U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey is urging Pennsylvanians to cover their mouths and noses when they must venture out of their homes. In a video that Toomey posted to social media, he detailed his support for the “Masks4All” movement. Toomey stressed that wearing a homemade mask or facial cover when you venture out is not about protecting yourself, rather it is about protecting those around you. Toomey also noted that people should follow Gov. Wolf’s order of staying home as much as possible and that N95 masks should be reserved for health care workers and emergency responders.
Research shows that fluids spread when coughing/sneezing are a big transmitter of COVID-19. Each of us needs to do what we can to stop the spread. One easy thing we all can do, today, is wear homemade masks in public. My mask could help you, your mask could help me. #Masks4All pic.twitter.com/6JGNNMtdJD
