LANCASTER – A Lancaster County teen charged with firing a gun during a shootout in Lancaster will have his case go to county court. 15-year-old Chance Celotti of Millersville waived his preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, rioting, carrying a firearm without a license, possessing a firearm as a minor, and recklessly endangering another person. Celotti and two others are accused of firing guns toward a group of people near a parking lot in the first block of Laurel Street and the 600 block of Lafayette Street in Lancaster on May 19. Surveillance video from Lancaster Safety Coalition cameras and nearby businesses purport to depict Celotti and three others exchanging gunfire with four individuals shortly after 5 p.m. Police found numerous bullet casings and fragments in the area and damage from gunfire. Celotti remains in the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center without bail.
