HARRISBURG – A man involved in the kidnapping of two boys in Harrisburg is being sought. On October 27 around 4:45 a.m., officers responded to the area of 20th and Holly Street and were told two boys were taken forcibly by 39-year-old Kenneth Smiley. An Amber Alert was issued. Around 8:15 a.m., officers found Smiley’s vehicle parked in the 200 block of S. 19th Street and occupied by the two boys. Smiley was not present at the scene. The children were taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Smiley is currently wanted on Criminal Attempt Homicide, Burglary, Kidnapping, and other charges. He is also a wanted absconder from PA State Parole. Anyone coming into contact with Kenneth Smiley should call 911.
