HARRISBURG -Harrisburg Police responded to two separate shooting incidents early Sunday morning. The first occurred just after 2 a.m. in the area of North 3rd and Herr Streets. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment and listed in stable condition. Then about 3:15 a.m., police responded to the area of North 2nd and Cranberry Streets for a report of shots fired with individuals struck. Upon arrival, officers located a single adult male gunshot victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital. At about the same time, officers were alerted that two additional gunshot victims had arrived at a local hospital via private vehicle. Officers made contact with the other two victims: one adult male and one adult female victim. All three victims are expected to recover. An investigation into the two shootings is ongoing.
