LANCASTER – A heat advisory has been issued for our region by the National Weather Service from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m. tomorrow. Heat index values up to 102 degrees are expected. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat-related illnesses. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned area. Also, be alert for the possibility of storms that may move through the area bringing heavy downpours, strong winds, and lightning.
