HARRISBURG (AP) – PA‘s outgoing state auditor general, Eugene DePasquale has won the Democrat nomination to challenge Republican Congressman Scott Perry. That’s as vote-counting on Friday in primary contests across the state ate up a fourth day. DePasquale will challenge Perry in the 10th District. Meanwhile, many primary contests statewide remained without a clear victor as counties tabulate an avalanche of mailed ballots. The Associated Press has not yet called a six-way Democrat race for auditor general. Democrat Michael Lamb still holds a slight lead over Nina Ahmad. The winner will face Republican Timothy DeFoor for the post. Voters mailed in about 1.4 million ballots, and turnout hit 24%.
