HARRISBURG – After leading 10 hearings on PA’s election process, House State Government Committee Chairman, York County Rep. Seth Grove shared his insights with members of the U.S. House Election Integrity Caucus during a virtual roundtable discussion. The Caucus was launched to serve as a platform for members of Congress to come together and educate and inform citizens about issues related to election security and activity, drive common sense policy solutions to restore faith in the voting process, and improve the administration of elections. Grove crafted the Voting Rights Protection Act based on the findings from the House State Government Committee hearings on elections. However, Gov. Tom Wolf vetoed the bill, claiming voter ID requirements suppressed voters. Earlier this week, Wolf said he is now in favor of voter ID. Grove has circulated a co-sponsorship memo to reintroduce the Voting Rights Protection Act.
