YORK COUNTY – York County authorities are investigating a shots fired incident at the Valley Green Townhomes in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 6. Shortly after midnight, police received several calls for reported shots fired heard by residents in the community. A preliminary investigation revealed that at least one firearm was discharged in the 100 block of Rose of Sharon Drive after shell casings were recovered at the scene. Officers canvased the area and collected further evidence. There are no reported injuries or damages at this time. Newberry Township Police are asking that all residents in the area who have video cameras or doorbell cameras to review the video between the hours of 11:30 p.m. on April 5 and 12:30 a.m. on April 6.
