LEBANON – Police are investigating a shooting in Lebanon. Yesterday around 1:35 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of S. 10th Street for a report of gunshots fired. Upon arrival, they found a male who had been struck by gunfire. The male was transported to a local hospital. Police say a suspect was quickly identified and later taken into custody. A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect and victim were known to each other and this was not a random act. At this time, charges are being prepared and the identity of the suspect and victim will be released later.
