HARRISBURG – The PA Senate has adopted a resolution recognizing this week as National Future Farmers of America Week in Pennsylvania. The FFA is a national organization that seeks to engage our youth while promoting the future of agriculture through education. Beaver County Sen. Elder Vogel, who sponsored the resolution, said the FFA is comprised of students in grades 7-12 and college. Last year, the PA FFA had 13,170 members and 148 chapters throughout the state. Nationwide, the FFA broke their membership record last year with over 760,000 members.
