CARLISLE – State Police in Carlisle arrested an armed woman after threatening some church goers in Cumberland County on Sunday morning. Troopers responded around 10:05 a.m. to Bethel Assembly of God Church at 1412 Holly Pike in South Middleton Township. Police say 31-year-old Amber Espigh of Harrisburg was making threats to church attendees as they were entering for a service. Church members engaged her in conversation until troopers arrived. She was taken into custody without incident and there were no injuries. She faces terroristic threats, harassment, firearms carried without a license, and other criminal charges. It was determined that she was involved in a burglary earlier that morning in Fairview Township, York County. The investigation is ongoing.
