MISSISSIPPI – Dozens of Samaritan’s Purse volunteers are in Mississippi helping homeowners in Rolling Fork in the west and in Amory in the east where a long band of powerful thunderstorms, spawning multiple tornadoes, carved a 100-mile path of destruction across the state March 24, damaging and destroying hundreds of homes and knocking out power. Two Disaster Relief units—tractor trailers filled with relief supplies and equipment –are at both locations. Financial donations are being accepted to help with the effort.
