LUMBERTON, NC – The investigation continues into a North Carolina road rage incident that took the life of a Lancaster County woman last week. A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to probable cause for the issuance of warrants and the arrest of the suspect responsible for the shooting death of Julie Eberly of Manheim. The reward was provided to the Sheriff’s office by a Robeson County resident that wishes to remain anonymous. Her murder occurred on last Thursday around 11:40 a.m. on Interstate 95 South near Exit 22 near Lumberton. Police say the Eberlys were headed to the beach for a vacation and had left their six children at home with grandparents. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division is leading the investigation and is seeking video footage or eyewitness accounts of the incident. The suspect vehicle exited at exit 22 coming into Lumberton on Fayetteville Road. A GoFundMe account has been established for the family.
