LUMBERTON, NC – North Carolina authorities say the reward for information leading to the arrest of the shooter of a Lancaster County woman near Lumberton last week has been doubled to $20,000. Investigators have identified the suspect’s vehicle from surveillance footage and are seeking additional footage. The vehicle is a silver four-door Chevrolet Malibu with North Carolina license plates. The vehicle has tinted windows and chrome trim around the window frame. 47-year-old Julie Eberly of Manheim died after being shot by a suspect described as an African American male with dreadlocks. She and her husband were traveling on Interstate 95 when a road rage encounter unknowingly developed after the victim’s vehicle came close to the suspect vehicle during a merge into a lane.
