HARRISBURG – Berks County Rep. David Maloney is offering a condolence resolution to honor two firefighters killed in the line of duty. On the evening of April 4, Walnuttown Fire Company Chief Jeffory Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick, Jr. were fatally injured along Route 222 in Richmond Township, Berks County. While conducting a missing person search, Chief Buck and Assistant Chief Shick were struck by an automobile that swerved off the roadway and struck their Utility Task Vehicle head-on. Maloney wants to honor together their more than seven decades as firefighters with the forthcoming resolution.
