HARRISBURG – The PA Juvenile Justice Task Force released it’s final report to strengthen the state’s juvenile justice system. The group was composed of state lawmakers and others selected for their expertise in various areas surrounding the juvenile justice system. One of the co-chairs of the group was Luzerne County Sen. Sen. Lisa Baker, who talked about some of their recommendations at a press conference held in Harrisburg. The task force found most youth in the juvenile justice system have little or no prior history of delinquency, have not committed a felony or a person offense, and do not score as high risk to re-offend.  You can read the report by CLICKING THIS LINK.
