HARRISBURG – Image and hair care businesses in PA that were hit hard by the pandemic are now eligible for $20 million in relief funding. The new relief money will be made available to businesses that applied for funding last year under the newly created Small Business Grant Program, but did not receive funds after the program exhausted its nearly $225 million budget. The pandemic created tremendous challenges for the hair care industry and the thousands of workers who provide in-person services to customers. This effort builds on previous efforts by the Wolf Administration and General Assembly to provide emergency relief to small businesses, including $145 million for the hospitality industry and $50 million in hazard pay to front-line, essential workers.
