LANCASTER COUNTY – Police in Lancaster County have issued a warrant for a Berks County man who financially exploited an older Lancaster County adult. On July 28, police responded to the 600 block of Willow Valley Square for a report of ongoing financial exploitation involving the accused, 52-year-old Timothy Hollis of Fleetwood. An investigation showed that Hollis had been hired in January 2026 as a driver for an elderly woman who needed transportation to numerous doctor appointments. Over the next several months, Hollis became close with the victim and gained her trust which resulted in him receiving money and assets from the victim, including a vehicle. In July 2026, Hollis is alleged to have used the victim’s credit card for a fraudulent purchase of over $350 at a local gas station when he was only to use the credit card to put fuel in a vehicle. In August 2026, it was found that Hollis pawned rings belonging to the victim. He had not been given permission to take the rings and pawned them for over $1,000. Hollis also asked for and received $4,700 from the victim for rent and is alleged to have not used it for a rent payment. A picture of Hollis can be seen below. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Hollis is asked to contact West Lampeter Township Police at 717-464-2421.
