MANHEIM – In a statement Thursday, the Manheim Police Department said they’re in need of public assistance as they attempt to crack down on recent property damage reports. Specifically, several reports of BB gun damage to houses and vehicles have come in from Rapho Township and Manheim Borough. The police say that the suspect, or suspects, are believed to have been driving a small silver SUV when shooting at homes and cars. Although there is no immediate threat to public safety, authorities are encouraging anyone with any information to come forward, especially if they have witnessed suspicious activity or have home surveillance footage of any of the incidents. Reports can be made anonymously and should be made to the Manheim Police Department.
