HARRISBURG – PA House Republican Leader, Rep. Jesse Topper of Bedford & Fulton Counties met with the media in Harrisburg to talk on a variety of issues. He talked about a review of security protocols at the Governor’s Residence following the recent arson attack. A detailed report on how the attack occurred will be received only by the State Police and the Governor’s Office. Topper believes lawmakers need to also have access, especially in providing additional funds or legislation needed to protect state officials and public facilities. Topper also talked about the upcoming REAL ID enforcement deadline, the need for SEPTA privatization efforts, and keeping watch on state spending and getting into deeper debt in later years.
