HARRISBURG – York County Rep. George Margetas was sworn into office in Harrisburg as the state representative of the 196th District in the PA House. The Republican said, “I’ve dedicated much of the last decade and a half of my life to serving my community as a school board member and township supervisor, and now I get to continue my service in Harrisburg. I will stand up for our community and be a voice for commonsense solutions to the problems we face.” Prior to his election as state representative, Margetas served as a West Manchester Township supervisor from 2023-26. He also served for 12 years on the West York School Board, from 2011-23.
