HARRISBURG – Hunters wishing to obtain antlerless deer hunting licenses would have an easier way under a bill now on the governor’s desk. Senate Bill 431 would remove county treasurers as the sole provider of antlerless tags, and include all sellers authorized by the state Game Commission through the PA Automated Licensing System, including online sales. Currently, hunters can only apply for antlerless deer licenses by sending an application to a county treasurer.
