LANCASTER COUNTY – Mennonite Disaster Service U.S. will be having a new Executive Director.. Clair Good will begin his new position on October 1, 2026. Good joins MDS from Mennonite Central Committee where he served as the Plain Community Liaison, strengthening constituent engagement, donor relations, resource generation, and volunteer involvement. MDS U.S. Board Chair, Wayne Yoder called Good “a seasoned strategic visionary with more than four decades of leadership experience across global, intercultural, and community-based settings.” Good will initially start his role training beside current MDS U.S. Executive Director Kevin King. Beginning on October 26, King will assume the role of a consultant to Good until December 31, 2026, when King will be fully retired.
