LANCASTER COUNTY – Manor Township Police released more information around the arrest of a Lancaster man accused of leaving a Columbia woman to drown inside a car that crashed into the Susquehanna River. New York City Police were conducting a targeted enforcement action in one of the housing developments in the 43rd Precinct when they encountered 23-year-old Mikaail Cotton. He and another man fled from police and were taken into custody after a foot chase. Cotton originally gave a false name when he was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a controlled substance. He is currently pending arraignment on those charges. The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office is moving forward with the extradition process for Cotton to return to PA to face charges in connection with the death of Saige Zink. Another person involved in the crash, Helmer Soto-Colon has been interviewed by Manor Township officers. They have been unable to interview Savahnnah McFerrin at this point and are encouraging her to come to them.
