HARRISBURG – Pennsylvanians struggling with problem gambling can get more access to help. PA Department of Drug & Alcohol Problems Secretary, Dr. Latika Davis-Jones announced an expansion of access to case management services. Case management, which is separate from treatment, is designed to help individuals and their families navigate treatment and recovery services and assist with non-clinical needs such as coordinating care, transportation, child care, finding employment and housing, access to health care providers, and financial literacy. Trained professionals known as case managers will assist individuals with accessing these services. Pennsylvanians can locate a case management provider through two ways. You can call PA’s Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER or log on to the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs case management online locator.
