CARLISLE – Police in Cumberland County are asking the public’s help in locating a missing man. On January 3rd around 1 p.m., Carlisle Police responded to the 200 block of South Pitt Street for a report of a missing person. Officers discovered Wayne Hovermill had left his residence on January 2nd around 10 a.m. and never returned. He was last seen at the Carlisle DMV on Walnut Bottom Road on January 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Hovermill is described as a bald, white male, six feet four, last seen wearing a black Baltimore Ravens sweatshirt. Hovermill is in need of medications that he does not currently have with him. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact Carlisle Police at 717-243-5252.
