LANCASTER – A Lancaster woman charged with causing the death of her 63-year-old mother will have her case proceed to county court. A judge ruled that the case of 34-year-old Elissa Waltman could proceed to county court on charges of involuntary manslaughter and simple assault. Waltman is accused of pushing Eileen Flugrath into a wall, which caused her to fall down a staircase outside Flugrath’s residence in the 100 block of Pickwick Place in Millersville the morning of April 5. Flugrath died of her injuries four days later. Waltman is currently free on $100,000 unsecured bail.
