ANNAPOLIS, MD (AP) – Gov. Larry Hogan says over 200 Maryland companies and nonprofits have supported their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hogan said companies helped in ways from sewing face masks, manufacturing personal protective equipment, and delivering meals to front line workers. The businesses include technology firms, restaurants, hotels, and biotech companies. The state reported there have been 64,603 confirmed cases – an increase of 297 in a 24-hour period.
