ANNAPOLIS, MD (AP) – Maryland is allowing child care providers to return to the full teacher-to-child ratios that they are licensed to have. State Superintendent of Schools Karen Salmon made the announcement on the same day that Maryland reported zero deaths from the coronavirus in a 24-hour period for the first time since March 28. Gov. Larry Hogan also announced that the state will allow indoor visitation at nursing homes that are not dealing with an outbreak and haven’t had any positive cases in 14 days.
