ANNAPOLIS, MD (AP) – Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is scheduled to announce more actions against a surge in COVID-19 cases. The governor will make the announcement this afternoon in Annapolis. The state reported 2,149 more virus cases Tuesday morning. Maryland has had at least 1,000 cases for 14 straight days. The number of hospitalizations are up to 1,046. Maryland has had a total of 4,186 deaths from the coronavirus. Last week, Hogan announced a reduction for indoor operations for bars and restaurants from 75% to 50%.
