HAVRE DE GRACE, MD – Authorities say a man drove his car through the Havre De Grace Police station after threatening officers. Police say on Sunday, 24-year-old Timothy Kahl contacted the police department threatening to go to the station to kill an officer. Police found Kahl parked in a car just a mile from the station, but when they approached the car, Kahl tried to run them over. He then headed to the police station, where police say he drove his car through the front lobby. Kahl got out and tried to attack officers, but police tazed him and he was taken to Harford Community Hospital. No officers were hurt. The building suffered severe damage. Investigators say Kahl is facing charges of attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and malicious destruction of property.
