LANCASTER – Lancaster Police arrested a man who had reportedly made statements about burning down the police station during the protests held in the city on Sunday. Officers arrested 35-year-old Gerald Grauert on the 800 block of E. King Street during a traffic stop shortly after 8 a.m. yesterday. Police had been notified of the threat on Sunday and images of Grauert had been shared on social media sites. A warrant was obtained for his arrest. Police spotted Grauert in a vehicle and pulled him over. Grauert was charged with criminal solicitation to commit arson, riot, and institutional vandalism. He was committed to Lancaster County Prison.
