HARRISBURG – Legislation is being introduced to address ethical standards of lobbyists in PA. The bill would prohibit any state entity, including the Legislature, from hiring a lobbyist to lobby on behalf of that entity. Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill of York County said her lobbyist reform measure is one of a series of bills being drafted on the issue to ensure that we are putting the people of  Pennsylvania over special interests. The legislation will be assigned a bill number and could receive state Senate committee consideration this fall.
