HARRISBURG – Legislation will be introduced by Columbia County Rep. Robert Leadbeter to regulate skill games in PA and create a dedicated funding stream for school choice when the machines operate within the state’s casinos. Under his proposal, all regulated skill games in PA would generate tax revenue with revenue from machines located outside of casinos flowing into the state’s General Fund. When skill games are deployed within a licensed casino, the tax revenues generated would be earmarked for a dedicated School Choice Fund, ensuring that families across PA gain access to expanded educational opportunities. Once introduced, the proposal will be assigned to a House committee for consideration.
