HARRISBURG – A Lebanon County senator has died from brain cancer. Republican Sen. Dave Arnold died Sunday at home with his wife and daughter by his side. After serving 14 years as Lebanon County District Attorney, Arnold ran for and won the state Senate seat in a special election in January 2020. During the campaign, he announced that he had undergone surgery to remove a brain tumor. Arnold had also served on the PA Sentencing Commission and as President of the PA District Attorneys Association. He was a lifelong resident of Lebanon County, a civic leader, softball coach, husband, and father. Arnold is survived by his wife and a daughter. Dave Arnold was 49. Gov. Wolf has ordered the Commonwealth flag on all state facilities, public buildings, and grounds fly at half-staff in honor of Sen. Arnold.
